Ingredients

  • • 1 lb ground turkey (instead of chicken)
  • • 2 tbsp olive oil (instead of vegetable oil)
  • • 1 medium onion, diced
  • • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • • 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
  • • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • • 8 oz water chestnuts, diced
  • • 3 tbsp coconut aminos (instead of soy sauce)
  • • 1 tbsp almond butter (instead of hoisin sauce)
  • • 1 tsp honey (instead of brown sugar)
  • • 1 head butter lettuce
  • • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. 11. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat
  2. 22. Add turkey, break up and cook until no longer pink
  3. 33. Add onion, garlic, ginger, cook 2-3 minutes
