Ingredients

  • Dough:

  • • 1/4 cup coconut sugar (instead of white sugar)
  • • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • • 1 cup warm almond milk (instead of whole milk)
  • • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (instead of butter)
  • • 1 egg
  • • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Filling:
  • • 1/3 cup maple syrup (instead of brown sugar)
  • • 2 tbsp coconut oil (instead of butter)
  • • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • Caramel Topping:
  • • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • • 1/2 cup pecans

Instructions

  1. 11. Mix warm milk, yeast, and 1 tbsp coconut sugar. Let sit 5 minutes
  2. 22. Combine flour, remaining sugar, salt
  3. 33. Mix in yogurt, egg, and yeast mixture
  4. 44. Knead 8-10 minutes until smooth
  5. 55. Rise 1 hour
  6. 66. Roll out, spread with filling
