- 4 large sweet potatoes (about 3 pounds)

- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
•
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
•
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
•
- 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
•
- 1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
•
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
•
- 1/2 cup whole milk
•
Topping:
•
- 2.5 cups miniature marshmallows
•
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
•
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Pierce sweet potatoes several times with a fork.

2. Bake potatoes for 45-60 minutes until very tender. Let cool slightly.

3. Reduce oven to 350°F. Butter a 9x13 baking dish.

4. Peel potatoes and mash in a large bowl while still warm.

5. Add butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, and milk.
